Life Just Throw Bricks at Me, But I Won’t Give Up.

The training project in NetEase has been going fine for me. Near its end, I got an internal offer from a project development team, which is a game I liked very much in their open-day presentation. I prepared everything to join that team, had talks with them, rent a new place, etc.

But the misfortune followed. The government suddenly introduced a Shutdown Law that limits gaming services provided to young audiences. As a result, the team that invited me (It’s more so that I asked them to invite me), cannot ensure me a position anymore, due to policy changes. Moreover, they probably face a inevitable shutdown.

I just don’t understand why I have to live with so many accidents. Why things cannot be smooth for even half a year?

I’m not the most unlucky, to be honest. Those people, who already worked for this project for years, I don’t know what they’re thinking, but they undoubtedly are more frustrated than me. For me, I have backup plans, many colleagues still support me.

This is the incident that reinforced my determination to pursue a career overseas. Apparently Chinese companies also noticed this trend. They are unwelcomed. They have to make moves.

This time I found myself more mature. Life destroyed my first dream that big enough to be called a dream, but I’ll have a second one for it. Now, it’s very likely that I’ll make my move, apply for a Master Degree in the US.

    1. This site uses WordPress. It requires some professional knowledge to setup(You need to construct the backend yourself, including renting a server, a domain and DNS configuration), but once you get it done it will be quite easy & cheap from then on. I believe there’re handy tutorials out there on the internet, and I highly suggest you try WordPress.
