About This Site…

Hey there!

This is the personal blog of a passionate game developer. You will see tech talks mainly about game logic and architecture, as well as some personal diaries.

Videos and code pieces of my work might also appear on this site.

Given my current work situation, I might not have sufficient time to update all the contents I want here. You know, I am a programmer after all.

The logo of the site is designed by Lena Du. She’s a talented artist & programmer, doing great in game programming, software design and painting.

This site was hosted on a CentOS server maintained by myself. Its backend is WordPress.

About Me…

I’m a game developer from China, and I have a long story to talk about myself.

At this point of my life I look back, it seems like I’ve already come to a place I otherwise shouldn’t have been in, if I was not helped by so many talented & kindhearted people.

I was just a typical Chinese high schooler back in 2017, reading classic novels, playing some mobile games, knowing nothing about programming. When I came to university I was so shocked by some of my classmates, who have been learning coding for years. At times I felt defeated, but I kept my heads up. And with helps from multiple classmates and lecturers, I started to gain a sense of programming.

Now, I’m so proud that I managed to catch up with them. I now have experience in multiple programming languages like Python, C#, and C++. Most importantly, I have enough engineering skills to participate in actual game development.

I also specialized a bit in Computer Graphics. I have a good amount of experience in OpenGL and HLSL, and I plan to expand my skill tree in that direction. Also, this aspect of skill is what earned me a competitive job offer.
